There is a little farm in the middle of my town, been there for over 100 years. They just started a CSA which will be comprised of produce from their farm as well as other, larger ones in the state. Needless to say I was excited at the prospect of participating for the first time in a CSA, and called them as soon as I heard about it.

Lo and behold, their pick-up hours are Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am - 6pm. Great. No CSA for me. I get on the train at 7:30am and am still in the middle of my commute home at 6pm.  

For some reason, this is really creasing me. I guess I feel bitter that I work hard all day, and a CSA would be something perfect for me and my “busy lifestyle”, but alas, I am not a stay-at-home mom or a retiree so its long lines on a Saturday at the supermarket for me!

I guess this falls in the “first-world problems” category, but hey, its pissing me off right now and sure, I’ll get over it! And yes, my life is good, I am blessed with health and love and yadda-yadda, but I want a weekly big box of produce, damnit!
